Dr. Mark J. Escoto brings more than 37 years of experience to dentistry, with advanced expertise in treating patients with acute and chronic temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMJ/TMD) and performing complex full-mouth reconstructions. For Dr. Escoto, dentistry has always felt like more than a career — it’s his calling. A graduate of the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry, Dr. Escoto has pursued extensive advanced education throughout his career. He earned a Master’s in Craniomandibular Orthopedics, completed a one-year residency at the Scripps Implant Institute, achieved Diplomate status with the American Academy of Pain Management, and earned an Executive MBA from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Dr. Escoto has a particular passion for helping patients suffering from TMJ/TMD and chronic pain, as well as restoring function, comfort, and confidence through comprehensive full-mouth reconstruction. His work and expertise have been featured in numerous professional and local publications, including the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Las Vegas Business Press, Functional Orthodontist, and the Anthology of Cranio-Mandibular Orthopedics. A longtime Las Vegas local, Dr. Escoto grew up in the community, attending elementary school and high school in Las Vegas before eventually returning to build his career and life here. He enjoys the variety of patients he gets to meet at Boca Dental & Braces and finds their appreciation for his work especially rewarding. Dr. Escoto is a member of the International College of Craniomandibular Orthopedics and the American Academy of Pain Management. Outside of dentistry, he enjoys traveling and, most importantly, spending time with his family.
